Honeyland is a beautiful award winning documentary, that tells the story of beekeeper Hatidze from a quiet village in Northern Macedonia. Hatidze lives of the sales of honey and takes care of her old mother. The delicate harmony with the wild bees is rudely disturbed when a new family moves into the village. Honeyland is a current parable about living in balance with nature versus the chaos that arises when one exploits nature and humans overestimate themselves.
