Bedroom speculations: Nature Re-imagined

A group exhibition featuring projects:

• Digital Tree Monument – What does a tree dream of? When an old, iconic tree disappears from our surroundings, it often invokes a feeling of loss. This project creates a digital archive of trees that have disappeared from the Castricum Duinbos. By Nicole Spit.
• NeoBio – what could emerge if the big commercial tech companies of the future integrated biotech in their product design? A vision on the influence of biotech on product design by Nicole Spit.
• All Gone, wool tapestry – In this experiment researchers and designers at the AUAS team up with artificial intelligence to co-create parables and images that imagine futures living with climate change.
• Gen Why? AI paintings envisioning how advanced understanding & empathy towards nature might act as a simulacra for our future creations by Vanilla_possum.
